The Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission published a notice of proposed rulemaking for Innovative Projects of the Mental Health Services Act.

Some county MHSA Innovation programs were approved locally and the majority have been approved by the Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission (MHSOAC).

OAC released a letter providing instructions on how to expend funds for Innovation Programs. The MHSOAC is committed to making the review and approval process as smooth as possible and will actively provide technical assistance and support to guide counties through approval.
